It could be quite exciting and fulfilling. Too true about giving your all to a difficult task. "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men..." Colossians 3:23. I need to reexamine my mom-attitude and make sure I look at it as an opportunity to glorify God and to do the best job that I can do in raising these kiddos. Which t-shirt? I'm wracking my brain and can't think of any that stand out.Jennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15168971820860256523noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2709628011376761895.post-59657053511786196422009-01-20T23:13:00.000-08:002009-01-20T23:13:00.000-08:00Sounds like you've been busy. It would be nice to take down the Christmas tree first, though.

I miss dispatch sometimes, but not enough to manifest itself in true regret. I enjoyed the mental exercise of juggling resources and moving them from place to place. Regardless of the complexity of certain things, as long as I felt it meant something I was committed to whatever it took to make improvements.

Like President Obama, I am 'firm in the knowledge that there is nothing so satisfying to the spirit, so defining of our character, than giving our all to a difficult task'.

As I recall you were never mean or overly emotional, at least to me. I still have the very nice homemade card you sent me almost a year after you left. My most vivid memory of you was your graveyard wardrobe, and one t-shirt in particular.

Best of luck with the home improvement, and keep in touch!John Linkohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02288629157356856873noreply@blogger.com
