We took a day off and went to the lake. Just because!

Thanks guys! :) John, I've been having a hard time finding something I like. My dad's been experimenting with some artwork so I really want him to do a blog design for me. Just have to wait patiently.

This looks very much like our days. We read, write, hands-on math, and have project time every day. We also did the butterfly house in kindergarten. Now MacGyver catches caterpillars in the yard, puts them in his butterfly house with twigs and flowers, watches them make their chrysalis and then releases them when they turn into a butterfly. Very cool!
Oh, and the children went to Aunt Joyce's river today. :)
